Frequently
Asked Questions for Home Sellers
Why should
I have a virtual tour taken of my home?
Life is busy, it’s busy for you, its busy for
potential buyers and its busy for your agent. The
biggest benefit of having a virtual tour is those
potential buyers coming into your home have already
seen the major rooms inside your home via a virtual
tour and like what they saw.
Who pays
for the virtual tour?
Just as any other form of advertising, your agent
does.
What days
and times do you shoot virtual tours?
We know that you don’t work just Monday to Friday
and neither do we! We can be available to shoot your
tour 7 days a week. Virtual tours do need to be shot
in the daylight.
How long
does it take to shoot a virtual tour?
It takes approximately 30 – 40 minutes, add
extra time if you want additional rooms and still
photos.
Can I be
home when the virtual tour is shot?
Sure you can! We may ask you to move from room to
room, or hold the family pet (if you have one). It’s
between you and your agent to decide who will be at
your home when our photographer is there.
What if I
want a virtual tour shot outside?
No problem! We love showing off the outdoors, as long
as its not raining.
Once the
virtual tour is shot, then what?
Your agent will be sent the link for the virtual tour
who will then forward it to all his or her potential
buyers as well as industry colleagues. Your tour will
appear on at least 3 websites: TouraHome.ca, MLS.ca
and Homesacrosscanada.com.
To view the
virtual tour does the user need anything special on
their computer?
No, none at all. No downloads or plug-ins are required
as the viewer code in java which is viewable to all.
